Celebrate spring’s arrival at the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery March 19-21 when Omaha’s Ikebana group will share its Japanese style floral designs based on artworks in the gallery. Then find our artists throughout the Old Market and downtown during our April and May “Road Show” when the Moving Gallery hosts an international show in our building.
We’ll be back in our normal location in June, when I’ll be featured along with sculptor Robert Dewaele and painters Richard Markoff and Virginia Ocken.
A small group gathered by photographer Dorothy Tuma is making plans for a show in September at Hot Shops. “Enchantments” will bring together Debra Groesser (painting), John Prouty (sculpture), Rose Rutherford (jewelry), Dorothy Tuma (photography) and me for a show focusing on the Southwest. Our opening celebration will be 6 p.m to 9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3. Two other galleries will also be filled with art, and we hope you’ll save the date and join us for the party. The show will run through September.
